Del D.I.Y. is a family business that started out unexpectedly. Our mom needed a solution for her bathroom door that prevented her from bringing my brother's wheelchair in and out of the space with ease. On a short vacation to mom's house in Charlotte, N.C. we decided to help her fix this problem. We headed to the local hardware store, picked up some lumber and a few tools. The picture you see is our very first barn door in my favorite stain, American Walnut. Not too shabby for the first try.
